First Communion Card

Last weekend, we had a First Communion party to attend. I used this cross stamp that I borrowed from a friend to make the card. The stamp is not SU! But, the rest of the creation is!
Have a great weekend!

My April CCS Card.

This is the card that I sent to the ladies. I used the Greenhouse Garden and Heard From the Heart stamp sets. The colors are Pretty in Pink and Elegant Eggplant.

I was really happy with the way that this card turned out. I hope that the ladies also enjoyed it!
Have a great day!

The Last CCS Card.

This cheery Spring card was sent by Janice McWilliams. Janice used the masking technique to create a bouquet of heart shaped flowers! And, then she added some butterflies for a little more!

Tomorrow, I will share the card that I created and sent to the group!

Have a good day!

A Unique Fold.

Here is a card that was sent by Lorita Edwards. I believe it is called a Step Fold. I like how she used the Flowers Awash Set.
I will have to find a tutorial on this and let you know more about it!
Thanks for stopping in!

Another Swap Card.

This card was made by Suzanne Rhyne. It is an oblong card, and I should do this more often! I like how she used the Little Leaves with flowers and brads.

The Cottage Wall DSP is lovely and she used great colors!

Have a good Saturday!

Now, here's a great idea!

This card was sent by Kirsten Brown. She used the set Embrace Life. Which, like I told her, has worked its way to the back of my drawer and hasn't seen ink in forever!
I love how she esssentially created her own DSP by using colorblocking and staming in different colors. I also have vellum, which has also been neglected.
I think that I am going to use this idea for a workshop card for next weeks workshop.
Have a good day!

Tour of April CCS Cards.

This month our theme was flowers. We could choose any products that had flowers or that you could make flowers from. Sharon McCartney sent this card my way. This card was made using the Butterfly punch and they were turned into pansies. Perfect for Spring!
Notice also, how Sharon used the Square Lattice Embossing folder to do the fold on the card. I really like the tab aspect of the card! I get so stuck on the same orientation for my cards, it is great to be inspired to do something different!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day!

I know that it is a day early, but we will be having a busy day tomorrow. I thought I should get this posted today, or it will be "old news" by Monday!
I love how these little tulips turn out! I always love finding versatile ways to use SU! products and there are very few things that someone doesn't think of!
The DSP is from the Sweet Pea Paper Pack. I used Rose Red, Garden Green, and Whisper White. I also used my Square Lattice Embossing Folder.
I hope that all of you mothers out there have a great Mother's Day! Take a moment to be thankful for all that we are blessed with!

Square Lattice Mothers Day!

Like I said yesterday, this Square Lattice Embossing Folder lends itself to simplicity. This time I used the opposite side of the embossing. I simply used Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry. I added a little ribbon and wa-la it is done!
Have a great day!

Another Favorite Product!

Every once in a while I think "what else can they come up with, that I can't live without?" In the new Summer Mini Catalog, SU! has another such product. It is teh Textured Impressions Embossing Folder Square Lattice. This folder is awesome. I received it in an order this week.
It is so easy to use, you almost don't need to add anything but a greeting. But, I also ordered the A La Carte stamp Motorcycle. I don't have any motorcycle lovers in my life, but I like the stamp.
This card is simply Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip. And, I just love it!

Another Partial MDS Page.

Here is another try with MDS. Ryan had "share" day at school. He wanted to share about our recent trip to Cabela's. I always like to combine his picture printing with a scrapbook page. Kind of "killing two birds with one stone." So, he picked out which photos he wanted to show, and I printed them off.

I mounted it several times rotating between Always Artichoke and Whisper White. Then I embossed the deer and wolf from Natures Silhouettes. I also markered some of the pines from Autumn Days.

Have a good day!

Tulip CASE.

I have seen these cards all over on SU! and SCS. You simply use the XL Bird Punch and punch out the wing to make the tulips. I saw a card with a similar layout on SU!'s site. I changed up the colors and the greeting and this is what I came up with.

The DSP is from the DSP paper stack. It looks lovely! I used my Big Shot for the scallop circle and the Circle Scissors Plus for the WW circle.

Pretty cute, huh?

Baseball Begin!

Yesterday, we had our first Little League game! What a great time of the year! The boys did fabulous! Both in the field and at bat! We are so proud of them!!

Here are two pictures of the tulips and the end of the daffodils! I love the variety of color! It is my favorite time of the year!!!

Have a great day!!

Elegant Page Layout.

Here is another page that I created yesterday. I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set to stamp in Whisper White Craft Ink. And, then I embossed it with White Embossing Powder.

I love how this page turned out! I am so glad to be able to put these pages together like this and one at a time put together albums for my boys. They love the scrapbooks as much as I do!
We are off to our first baseball game this morning. We are all very excited to see how it goes! I will be sure to mention it tomorrow!
Have a great Saturday!
