Easy One Layer Case

A while ago, I was checking out other blogs. I came across a card similar to this one. I used Extreme Dirtbike and Extreme Elements stampsets. Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise and Old Olive with Black Stazon Ink.
So, simple yet perfect for a boy birthday card!
Thanks for stopping in!

Elements of Style.

This card was made using a new stamp set Elements of Style. It was available in the mini catalog and will be in the new catalog. I love the floral element of this set. I can't wait to use it to create scrapbook pages! I think the background that it creates is beautiful.

I also used my Square Lattice Embossing folder to create the larger vanilla background piece. It adds nice dimension. It is stamped first and then run through the Big Shot.

I added the new ribbon in Marina Mist to the card. It is so nice and easy to work with and not at all bulky!

I also used a new product called Smooch Spritz. This is the Vanilla Shimmer Spritz paint. It comes in Gold, Silver, Vanilla and Log Cabin (which is brown). It is a little bottle that you spray onto the paper. It takes a little trial and error. If it is done too closely to the paper it will make it too wet and smear. It adds a great touch to any product. The best part about this is that it is only $4.95! You have got to love that.

Almost a CASE.

Well, not really, but it inspired me anyway! This card took off from on that is in the new idea book and catalog. In the catalog they used the Big Shot to make the word "GIRL." I used chipboard, but it didn't come out exactly how I had planned.
I think it looked nicer in real life than it does photographed. Nonetheless, this is what I have.
Have a good day!

Because I Care... Gate Fold

Here is another monochromatic Because I Care card. I used Early Espresso cardstock and ink. I used my Square Lattice Embossing Folder to add texture to the two front folds. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Verses, where would I be without this set?
Enjoy your day!

New Colors, Because I Care.

I had warned you that you were going to see a lot of this set. Because I Care is such a pretty set. I love the flower and I love the sentiments in the set. They are just so pretty and simple.

I used my Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions folder for the embossing on this card. The colors are Whisper White, Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride. I used the same colors in markers to color the flower.

Just loving it!!!!

Studio Sketches

This is a new set that will be available July 1st called Studio Sketches. I used markers to color in the image. The colors for this card are from the new in color collection, Pear Pizzaz and Concord Crush. I also used my Embossing Plates to add the diamond shapes.
The new colors will really grow on you! There are so many to choose from and work with!
We have one more 1/2 day of school left and then my life will no longer be my own for a couple of months! Here's to enjoying summer!

Because I Care... Round 1

Just a warning....you will see more of this stamp set (alot more!)
This is one of the new hostess Level 1 stamp sets. It came free with my first order! I have had some fun playing with it and the rest of my new supplies.
I really think that the new colors are going to be nice. Not that I have a choice in the matter or anything!
I used my Top Note die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Pear Pizzaz, Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight Cardstock. The ribbon is also a new product in the catalog.
See you tomorrow!

Simple Page

This is a simple page. I used some retiring colors and retired ribbon. As you may have noticed, I like clean and simple. The picture is on the page with coordinating colors. I hate to add too much when I am all ready pleased with the result! I stop while I am ahead, and call it done!
Enjoy your day!

Fathers Day!

I had to get my Fathers Day cards made. In real life this card is stunning! I wasn't able to capture it because it is so grey and yucky here!
I used Soft Suede, Garden Green and Brocade Blue. I colored the image with my markers and then sponged Brocade Blue over it. I also used my Square Lattice Embossing Folder. This is for sure a must have!
Have a great day! Today, my box of new SU! toys should arrive. Here's to hoping a get a chance to play with them!
Enjoy!

Baseball Thank You!

I hope that anyone who cares can forgive me for my absence! Believe me, there is no one else more disappointed than myself. Life has been crazy lately and I truly haven't had a chance to stamp.
This rainy Sunday morning, I had a minute! And, so I made 3 cards! Wow!
This card is for Kyle's teacher. She took the time to come to Kyle's last home baseball game last week! She is a teacher, and has two young daughters who are involved in various activities, but still found time to come support Kyle! We are truly blessed to have such teachers in our lives!
I used some retiring colors and stamp sets, but it is cool all the same!
Thanks for stopping by and not giving up on me!
