SUDEMOOONLY April Swap.

Our theme this month is "getting punchy." So, what better opportunity to break out some new stuff that will be available next month? I used Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive to make the pretty flower. The flower punch is the new Triple Layer Blossom Punch. I must say that I was excited to see this punch in the Summer Mini. But, equally as happy to receive it and see that it really worked!

I added a little button to the center of the flower! It adds to the postage, but also adds to the card!

I hope that the ladies who receive my card enjoy it!

The Gate Fold Workshop Card.

This is the gate fold card that we made at the workshop last week. I just love the DSP for these cards. You can mix and match and put it any way that you are happy with it!

I feel like this is going to be one of my favorite DSP's! I hope that it is only a hint of what will be available in the new catalog!!! Who ever has enough paper?

Enjoy the sunshine!

Happy Poppy Parade.

The In Color Poppy Parade is quickly becoming my new go to color! I love how bright it is! And, it is working its way in to almost each project that I make.

For this card I used Poppy Parade and Wild Wasabi with the Build a Blossom Stamp set and punch! I also used my XL Circle punch to punch out a Poppy Parade circle for the background.

I added some sponging to the greeting to add a little more color. The background was done with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

I just love how it turned out!

Spinning Butterfly

Here is a card that we made at Fridays workshop. Jessica had showed us how to make a similar card. I adapted it to use the butterfly!

To make the spinner pick a punch and punch both layers of cs or dsp with the punch. Cut a piece of thread long enough to attach to the top and bottom of the punched out image. Attach the string between the cardstock and dsp. I used my snail to attach it all. Then I snailed the butterflies together on opposite sides of the thread.

Enjoy the warmer temperatures!

It's Dads Birthday!

Happy Birthday, Dad! This is another gate fold card that I made with then DSP that is a sneak peek special this month from SU! It will be available in the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog. It is available for the month of April and will be in "hiding" for May and June. I love the variety in this DSP. It coordinates beautifully. I have been thrilled with the gatefold cards that I have made with it!

The Four Frames Stamp Set is also on special this month and will be in the new catalog when it comes out.

Happy Birthday, Dad! Hope that you have a great day!!!

A Sweet Bonus Card.

I received this card along with a "wish" from Suzanne Rhyne, a fellow SUDEMOONLY member. It is a great remider to get one of my favorite stampsets back out! It has worked it's way to the back of my drawer!

I wish you all a Happy Easter! And, be sure to come back next week to see some more new work that I have done!

Enjoy!

Spring is on it's way!

Well, since the weather won't act like Spring, I figured I would create a little Spring of my own. I got the Flower for all Seasons stamp set free during SAB. I love how simple it is to create a cute card!

Grab your markers and this can work for any color combination! I used Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzaz for this one!

I used my Big Shot and the Square Lattice Embossing folder for the background. Then added a little ribbon!

Wa-La! Enjoy the day!

Cupcakes and Candles.

This is a page that I did of Kyle's birthday. I used DSP and the Build A Blossom Punch to make the candles. And, I used the Cupcake Punch for the cupcakes.
Such a fun layout!

I added a little Glitter Paper for the cherries on the cupcakes!

Enjoy your Monday!

Vanessa's Card.

This is the card that Vanessa made for our swap. I love the tulip embossing folder and the DSP! Marina Mist is one of my favorite colors! And, it really stands out in this DSP! Vanessa made and attached the label for the greeting. She left it blank so that we could add whatever greeting that we wanted! I chose Happy Birthday and didn't even smudge it when I stamped it! How that happened, I am not sure!

Enjoy your weekend!

Rub ons and Scrapbooking.

On this page I used my rub ons. I also added little pearls to the center of the snowflakes for a little bling.
I don't have a reason as to why I don't use my rub ons more often. I will have to work on that!

Have a great day!

Lisa's Other Swap Card.

Last month Lisa's cards got lost in the mail. Here is the second card that she brought for us this month. She used the Top Note Die again. This time making it square. She also made a neat little paper ribbon to add to her card. That is a neat idea that I will have to try for sure!

Enjoy your day!

Lisa's Lovely Swap Card.

So, this is the card that Lisa gave to us. She made a lovely paper flower out of cardstock. It is so soft and frilly, I really have to try to make these. I always shy away from them, because they won't mail very well. But, I will try them and put them on a card that I will "hand deliver." I also thought that they would look great on a scrapbook page.

I also like how she used the Top Note die. She cut only a section of it to use. Very nice!

Have a great Monday!

Beth's Swap Card.

This is the card that Beth made for our swap. She used many elements and textures. I always love the XL Bird Punch, which I have to get out soon! And, the Happiness Always stamp set is a great one for a background!

Thanks for stopping in!

Recycling Containers.

Jess made these darling little containers for us! I had seen them on Patty Bennetts blog and thought they were cute, but never made one. Well, Jess got right on it!

When the containers come from SU! they are full of buttons, brads and other bling! Then you use the goodies, you are left with a clear little containers. This is a perfect idea! They even hold little treats!

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!

Today, is my parents anniversary. This is the card that I made for them. I used a card in the latest Stampin' Success as inspiration. I changed the colors and some of the elements! I was very pleased with how it turned out! The stampset that I used is the Flowers Awash Stamp Set. I watercolored them with my aquapainter. In the card that I cased they used buttons in the center of the flowers. But, I haven't bought any buttons lately, so my colors were retired. So, I improvised with the Vintage Brads and buttons. And, then I added two collections of buttons to my order....they are on their way!

Happy Anniversary, mom and dad! Have a great day!

Plane and Simple

Plane and Simple is a stamp set that is available in the Occassions Minni Catalog. These two cards were made by Bonnie. They are the cards that she swapped last week at Jessica's house.

Darling Card.

This is the card Jess taught us how to make last week. Using the XL scallop circle punch we punched out the center. We stamped the cupcake and adhered it to a circle of cardstock. We threaded the string through the circles and adhered it in between the layers of cardstock.

.

The paper and ribbon are from the Sale A Bration DSP pack! How cute! Now, to come up with a similar card for my next workshop!

Enjoy the grey day!

During the month of April if you place a $20.00 order you are eligible to purchase the Petals Paisley Designer Series Paper for $9.95 and/or the Four Frames Stamp set available in wood and clear mount. These items will be available in April and then will return in the brand new Idea Book and Catalog in July!
So, if you love them and just have to have them, now is your chance! Or, check back in July if you think that you can wait that long! I know that I won't wait! We will be using this stamps and paper at my next workshop in April!!! See you then!

SU! Supplies come in handy.

Last Tuesday, Ryan informed me that Wednesday was "silly hat" day. And, he wanted a green and yellow silly hat. With little time to "create" a hat. I put my thinking cap on.......

I cut strips of retired yo-yo yellow and glorious green cardstock into 1 inch strips. Then, I used my bone folder to "curl" the paper. I took an old hat and stapled the paper curls onto the hat. I also cut the top seam and added some curls up there too!

He was happy, so I was happy! I guess it truly is the simple things in life!
