Petite Pennants Builder

Here is a card that I made a while ago using the Petite Pennant Builder punch.   I used a stamp from the Pennant Parade stamp set.  Then I punched out the pennants using the punch.  The DSP is from the Beyond the Garden DSP Paper Pack.  I strung the pennants together using twine and attached them to brads.  The background is embossed with the Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate.

Pacific Point is such a bright and cheery color, it can be used for any occassion!

Have fun!

My New Love.....

This is Island Indigo....I am so in love with this color blue.  It is a new in-color for the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog.  Which means it will be availalbe this year and next year!!!  I wish that it never goes away, but that wouldn't be the idea of an In-Color....would it?

I used Always Artichoke and Whisper White Cardstock with the Love & Care Hostess set from the Summer Mini Catalog.  This set is awesome!  I used my Color Spritzer Tool to add a little more color!

Have a great day!  It is a perfect summer day here!

Sail Away

This stamp set is Sail Away.  It is an idividual stamp from the Summer Mini Catalog.  I hadn't actually gotten it on an order.   A dear friend from the SUDEMOONLY site granted me my wish, and sent me a brand new Sail Away stamp!  So, of course I had to put it to use!  The sentiment is from Curly Cute.

I used Sahara Sand and Cherry Cobbler as my color scheme.  I stamped the ship on Sahara Sand and the "crumpled" it up until it looked worn.  I added some bakers twine in Cherry Cobbler to give some details.  It is quite simple to replicate!

Fabulous Florets

I used my scallop circle punch and then punched the holes into the scallops with my hand punch.   I also used my Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.

This is a card that we made at last months workshop.  I had found a similar card that I used for inspiration.  I changed a couple of things and this is the result.

I love the color combination of Kraft Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.  The ribbon is not currently available.  And, I tied a piece of the Cherry Cobbler/White Bakers twine around the striped ribbon to add a little more to the card.

I really like make a card like this.  It is simple and quick, yet looks complicated and detailed!

Have a great day!

Lace Ribbon Border Punch

Here is a sample done with the NEW Lace Border Punch.   There are so many neat things being done with this punch.  I used three strips of Whisper White and adhered them to Daffodil Delight Cardstock.  Then I layered that onto Basic Black Cardstock.  I used Basic Pearls and the Whisper White Organza Ribbon to add detail to the card.

Simple and Elegant!  Perfect for any occasion!

Stay in AC today!  It is 86 degrees and only 10:00 AM!!!

Love and Care.

This stamp set is Love & Care.  It is a hostess Level 2 set that is available in the Summer Mini Catalog.   It will be available until the end of August.

This set took my eye as soon as I saw it.  I love the flowers that are in the set.  They are so versatile!

For this card I used the In Color Calypso Coral Cardstock and Ink.  I added some basic pearls to highlight the center of the flowers.

The sentiment is another new set called Petite Pairs.

It is going to be a hot one here, stay cool!

Scrapbooking My Niece!

It has been few and far between when for me to have time to scrapbook.  I took these photos of my niece one day a couple of weeks ago.  And, I knew if I didn't scrapbook the photo immediately, it wouldn't get done.  So, I printed the picture and got to work.

Having sons, I don't often get the chance to use "girly" colors and embellishments!  But, when I get the chance I make the most of it!  I love how this page turned out.  I love pulling colors from the photo to create the page!

The XL Bigz flower die is so fun to emboss and layer.  I used tiny strips of paper for the "string" of the buttons!

What fun to make.  I gave it to my brother and sister in law and they will hang it on their fridge in the fridge frame that they have!  I love when others get to enjoy my work!

Stay cool!

Wall Art Frame for my nephew!

Last week, my nephew was born 4 weeks early.  He is healthy and happy at home with his mom and dad.  Part of the shower gift was this 12 X 12 shadow box frame that I made.  I am hoping that it coordinates with his bedroom layout that they choose.

I used stamps, ribbon, embossing folders, button and brads to create this multi dimension piece.

This has been one of those projects that was so fun to create.  Not only was it fun to create, but I am so pleased with the results!  I loved the way that it turned out!  Hopefully, my brother and his wife enjoy it also!!!!

This is the coordinating card that I made to go with the gifts.  Lovely!!!

Have a great day!

Triple Layer Punch

This is a very simple card that I made for our last workshop. We used the Triple Layer Flower Punch and punched out 6 different color flowers. Mounted them on Whisper White and Basic Black. We added some rhinestones for some extra bling and there you have it.
Easy Peasy!

Island Indigo VS. Poppy Parade

My new favorite color is the In color Island Indigo. It is the perfect blue that matches so many colors. I combined this one with Poppy Parade. I took the Poppy Parade twill ribbon which normally has a white border. I took my Island Indigo marker and colored in the edge.
Lovely!
