Mothers Day Take 2.

I know, I know! Mother's Day is over! I made this card last week and meant to get it posted Sunday, then Monday and now here it is on Wednesday. I am afraid that life is going wild and stamping time is put on the back burner! I hope that I can get up there and get some stuff done, but it isn't looking great!

On a better note the weather has been wonderful! Not too cold and not too hot! Just right!!! So, I have been outdoors more than in doors. And, that is good for several reasons!!

Back to business....this card was made for Mother's Day, but any sentiment can work! I used the new DSP from the summer mini called Beyond The Garden. At first look, it is not my style. It is very bright and "flowery." But after studying if for a while I realized that there are many colors in there to pull from.

The Pacific Point makes a great color for this card! I had fun making it!

Enjoy the lovely day!

Happy Mothers Day, Take 1.

This is the card that I made for my mother for Mothers Day! I used the new DSP that is available in the Summer Mini Catalog.

I love the little extra bling of the rhinestones. And, the combination of pink and green works great. Who would have thought?

Have a great day!

Bright Flowers

Here is a card that I made last week. I used the XL Flower die from the Occassions Mini. I am assuming that it will again be available in the 2011-12 Idea Book and Catalog.

It makes very pretty flowers. And, after you run it through the Big Shot, you can use and layer which ever pieces that you prefer!

I embossed the background with the Vintage Impressions Folder.

Super fun and simple!

Have a great weekend!

Sympathy Card

The one kind of card that I never like to make is a Sympathy card. Unfortunately, the need arises.

For this card I used the Flower Garden Texture Impressions Folder. It is available in the Summer Mini Catalog. It is so simple and pretty.

I simply embossed it and then used a sponge dauber to apply chalk to the image. I find that less is more with so many of the embossing folders. I really enjoy using them!

Have a good day!

A Poppy Workshop Card

This is a card that we made at our last workshop. It combines my favorite Poppy Parade and Wild Wasabi with a Flower For All Seasons stampset.

So simple, yet elegant! The Elegant Lines embossing folder is fun to use, but hard to cover.

Stay dry!

Scrapbook Page with Paisley DSP

This is a simple page that I did with the scrapbook paper (DSP) that was on special for the month of April. If you loved the paper, it will be back in July in the Idea Book and Catalog.

I ecspecially love it because it is so versatile. The colors are so easy to pull out and work into any kind of layout!

Enjoy your day!
