Happy Friday! I can not believe that 2009 is slipping away just as quickly as 2008 did!
I found out yesterday that I have yet another niece or nephew on the way. I had always thought that it would be awesome to be able to crochet blankets for my nieces and nephews. So, when I found out a couple of months ago that I had one on the way, I got right to work. And, now I find out that there is another baby in my future. My fingers may fall off before I get them done.
I can remember how special the afghans were that family and friends had made for my boys. They actually wore a couple of them out and still sleep with different ones today and they are 6 and 8. I hope that I can create the same memories for my incoming family!!!!

Okay, I am too jealous. Can you tell me how to make this, or is it too hard to relay in typing? Also, what kind of yarn are you using?? I can do simple crochet, single, double, etc. Guide me, great one!!
