Build A Blossom Birthday

Here is a bright card that I made for a friend. I used the Build A Blossom stamp set and punch to make this flower. The flowers in the center are the paper daisies. I colored one with my marker then I attached it with a rhinestone brad.
I just love this Pacific Point color of blue! It is so versatile and fun!
Enjoy your day!

Great Use of the Big Shot.

So, this is a card that I had received from a swap last month. The Big Shot is a neccessity to create this one!
The two Embossing folders Framed Tulips and Polka Dots were used to add texture. The Bigz L Die Fun Flowers was used to create this two tone flower.
It is a lovely piece of work and full of texture and dimension!

Quick Basketball Card

My son needed a last minute birthday card for his buddy. The boys play basketball together so I thought this would be a good idea.
I used one of the acrylic blocks to stamp the ink for the back board. Then stamped the basket and the ball. And, that is that!

A Slice Of Life

This is the beautiful sight that we woke up to this morning! There was a thick frost on all of the trees and against the blue sky it was delightful! On mornings like this I can ignore the fact that it is 6 degrees out there! It was amazing!

This is just a quick card that I threw together to have something to post!

The flower and vase image are from the Occassions Mini Hostess set A Slice of Life. There are various images that can easily be used to create cards for any occassion!

I colored in the flowers using my markers and blender pens.

Back to Scrapbooking.

This is a two page layout that I put together of our niece, Emma. I don't get to do much in pink. Nevermind, frilly and sweet!

The paper is from the SAB paper pack. It is so bright and fun!! It was screaming use me! I added some rhinestones for some extra bling, which was easy to get away with.

The letters were cut out with my Big Shot then embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. Then I added a couple of the flower stickers from the DSP pack!

So much fun and really not that difficult! Enjoy!

Poppy Parade!

This is Poppy Parade, one of the In-Colors that are now available. I haven't used it much. And, as a matter of fact I haven't even purchased the ink pad. I am still on the fence. I used my marker to color the sentiment! I really like the color, but I am trying to keep my purchases under control. But, I may have to get Poppy Parade! It is just so bright and cheery!

I also added some of the new Pop Pom trim. Maybe, it doesn't work perfectly but I did add it!

Enjoy the day!

Lookie What I Found!

Instead of saving this photo to my Stampin Up! project folder, I copied to my general picture folder. So, it is a day late but still included in Valentine's week!

Again, I used the beautiful Specialty DSP. I punched out some hearts and added more of my favorite ribbon!

Come back next week for some sweet projects!
Enjoy the weekend and I promise, no more Valentine's Day!

"Kind Of" Related To Valentine's Day.

Well, apparently my computer has ate some of my photos. I can't seem to locate the other pictures of the Valentine's Day cards that I made.
So, a scrapbook page with Sants is kind of close to Valentine's Day, right? Not really, I know! But, there is a heart on the page! I saw this layout done on MDS. Of course, I haven't used MDS for a 12 X 12 page because I haven't been adventerous enough to order a printed 12 x 12 page.
Anyway, I thought this layout was super cute. And, it used up a bunch of buttons that I buy thinking that I will use and never do! The buttons are attached with glue dots. The letters are from the Big Shot. The background paper is not SU! (sorry). It was just something that I had here and thought it would work for this layout!
Enjoy!

1/2 Way Through Valentine's Week!

Here is another offering for Valentine's Day. I love the Red, White and Black Combination! It is just so stunning!

Of course, the greeting on these cards is Happy Valentine's Day, but you could substitute what ever it is that works for you! They could fit almost any occassion!

Enjoy

Day Two Of Valentine's Week!

This is another card that I made for the teachers. I used some beautiful Specialty DSP that needs very little added to it to make it gorgeous! I did add some of my favorite ribbon and a heart from Punch Potpourri!
I just love it!

Happy Valentine's Day Week!

It, as you know, is Valentine's Day! I have chosen to show you my Valentine's cards for the week. I probably should have done this last week, but who is counting?

I had made 4 cards for the boys teachers and classroom aides. This is the card that Ryan chose for his teacher.

I was using "pieces parts" that I had laying around to make the cards. I think that it came together nicely!

I am a little bummed as I have forgotten to take pictures of the 36 valentines that I made for the boys for the classmates. They were pretty neat, if I do say so myself. We wrapped Hershey bars with 6 X 6 DSP and tied on a valentine tag. For the Boys I used Extreme Elements, Extreme Dirtbike and Extreme Guitar. For the girls I used the NEW Build A Blossom and punch. The kids were in a big yank to get them to school on Friday. I put them together at the last minute and they ran out the door with them! You will have to take my word that they were pretty cool!

Anyway, I hope you get to spend the day with someone you love!

SUDEMOOONLY Swap.

This months SUDEMOONLY Swap's theme is "something new." This card was sent by Cyndi Willis and I just loved it!
The colors are so bright and cheery, the buttons and images are so fun and I just love the way she put it together!
It is always fun to swap, but ecspecially fun when you get "new" things that you haven's seen in real life!
Have a great weekend!

Simple Card

This is a thank you card that took like 5 minutes to make! I used Old Olive Card stock. I embossed the front using the Framed Tulips embossing folder. The DSP is from Botanical Gazette. And, stamped the "thank you" in Old Olive.

Simple, simple, simple!

My Swap Card.

This is the card that I made to swap. I love the Framed Tulips embossing folder. I ran it through the Big Shot with Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged over it with Early Espresso Ink. I used the new DSP from the mini catalog called Botanical Gazette.
If you love DSP like I do, you will love this pack! Some of the sheets of paper are just to pretty to cut. I don't know what I will ever do with it!
I also stamped the butterfly from the Dreams DuJour stamp set and cut it out. I attached that with a couple of dimensionals!
And, there you have it. I just received a beautiful box of NEW SU! products to play with, so off I go!
Hope that you have time in your day to stamp something pretty!

Bonnies Swap Card

This is the card that Bonnie swapped with us at Jess's house. She added many details and elements to her card. And, I hadn't seen the button stamps in real life, so they were nice to see!
Swapping is always fun! I love to see what others come up with!
Enjoy the day!

Beth's Swap Card.

Jess's downline, Beth, made this card for us. Nice cheery bright colors really make this card enjoyable. I also like how she combined DSP to add dimension to the flowers! Great card, thanks for sharing!
Enjoy your Monday!

Vanessa's Card.

Last Monday when we met down at my downlines house, we did a little card swap. This is a card that Jess's newest downline made for us. She is brand new to SU! and has limited supplies. But, I though that she did a nice job!
It also reminds me that I need to get my Bird punch out and use it again. It has worked it's way to the bottom of the drawer and I haven't seen it in a while!
Enjoy the weekend!

Valentine's Workshop Card.

This is another card that we made at our last workshop. I punched out the hearts with the heart punch, adhered them to white cardstock with mono adhesive and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing folder. So, it makes the hearts look like they are one with the paper.

I also used the ribbon punch to make this delicate Real Red border. The strip looks nice this way or showing both sides of the scallops.

Enjoy the sunshine!

A Little Watercoloring.

This is a card that I designed for my last workshop. We used markers and blender pens and/or the aquapainter to watercolor the lighthouse image. I added two lines of ribbon and a vintage brad.

I also had to use some of the new glass glitter, that I think is so pretty. Although, some of the ladies just left off the whole tag/punch and just stamped the greeting. That looked nice too!

New Card, New Energy!

I know that it has been a while since I have posted! Even though, I haven't been posting, I have been stamping and scrapbooking!

Last night, my downline Jess had a get together and we made a card and swapped some cards. This is the card that she had us make. It was fun because I hadn't had a lot of interest in the set or the punch. But, that has all changed!

I ordered it this morning on my workshop order. Build a Blossom and the Blossom Petals Punch are both available in the Occassions Mini catalog. The brad in the center is from the Fabric Designer Brads Sweet Stitches. All new, all fun and all on their way to me!!!!

For the first layer of petals we adhered them straight to the card base. Then we used the bone folder to curl the top 5 petals and adhered them with glue dots! We used a "kissing technique" to make the design on the flower petals!
Fun, fun, fun! Thanks so much Jess for having us!
