A Quick 3 X 3 thank you.
One of these days, I will remember to load these pictures in the opposite order. I don't know why they don't put them in the order that I anticipate! Sorry for the confusion.
This is a quick little card that I made using my favorite DSP. I don't know what I am going to do next month, when hopefully I have a new favorite! Hopefully, they have something comparable to this paper! I sure will miss it.
So, like I said simple. I just punched the circle in the front of the card. Then using my scallop circle punch and the circle punch I made a frame that I glued to the front of the card. On the inside, I did something similar.
I sent this to a new customer to thank her for her order and she loved it!!!
Have a nice Sunday!

So, this is the swap card!
So, most of you don't know. But, Keri can relate. She did a workshop for me last week. She mailed back my supplies on Saturday. Well, it is Thursday and they are MIA.
Poor planning on my part meant that I was waiting for the Thoughts of Father stamp set that she used at the workshop. Since the package is not at the post office, I had to improvise.
Instead of using the watering can and flowers on Whisper White cardstock, I decided to use by BS and cut out some layered butterflies instead! I used the hemp twine to tie around the butterflies for antenae.
I have to say, this isn't what I had in mind. But, I am sure pleased with the results. And, now the cards can be in the mail on time!!!
Thanks for checking in!

A Peek A Boo Card.
This is a card that my downlines downline showed us how to make at a recent get together. Sorry that the pictures are not in the proper order, but you should still get the point (I hope!)
When the card is closed, you can see a Kiwi Kiss bird. When you open the card, the bird is Rose Red. This card is really not that hard to make, but does take practice.
Bonnie's web site is www.bonniescreativeplace.blogspot.com and I believe that she has tutorial on there with instructions on how to create your own peek a boo card. Thanks for sharing, Bonnie!!!!
Have a great day!

One More Look at the Texturz Plate.
This card was made by embossing directly on the cardstock. I think that it is so elegant. As I have been making these embossed cards, I have been having a hard time putting a sentiment on them. They just look so nice plain, that I think adding is overdoing!
Enjoy your extra long holiday weekend!
Next week I will show some new things!

Another take on the Texturz Plate.
Another card made with the texturz plate and not much stamping. This time I ran a piece of vellum cardstock through the Big Shot and mounted it on a piece of DSP. For the words, I stamped them in Baja Breeze and then embossed them with clear embossing powder.
If you have the Big Shot this texturz plate is a must have in my opinion. It is so versatile and easy to use!
See you tomorrow!

My 100th Post!
I know, to some it is not a huge milestone, but 100 posts for me is a fun point!! Hopefully, I will be quicker and more consistent with my next 100!!!!
I wanted to begin this post by thanking my downline Jessica and her downline Bonnie for a great time last night. Jessica invited us to her house for some food, fun and stamping! I will be posting photos of what we made later on! But, I had a ton of fun and it was fun to learn different things and hear new ideas!!!
This is the card that I showed them how to make. This card is using the Big Shot and the texturz plate on glossy cardstock. Then using the brayer, we brayered on 3 colors of ink. For this one we used Summer Sun, Cameo Coral and Regal Rose.
The picture doesn't do it justice, but it comes out really pretty!
Thanks for checking in on me!!!

The New Printed Window Sheets
This card was made with no stamping! Can you believe it? This is a new product from the Occasions mini available now through SU! They are so simple to use. But, they are hard to photograph without getting a glare, so I apologize for that!
I simply placed the overlay over a piece of textured cardstock and attached it with the two brads. I tied a piece of ribbon on to it. Then applied the "celebrate" rub-on. And, there you have it.
I didn't think that I would be posting this morning, but I woke up at 4:45 ready to go for the day. Now, I have all sorts of time on my hands!
Have a great day!

The Cards for a "send away" workshop.
Here is what I came up with for the flower card! I love this effect and it is so easy to substitute any colors and/or paper and it comes out lovely! I love the Big Shot so much!!!
I can not wait until I get my hands on the ne SU! Catalog to see what Big Shot goodies they are going to have for us!!!
Well, Keri here they are. The second one is pretty straight forward. It is kind of like the card that I posted a while back that I made for my Fathers Birthday. I guess that I better not send him this one for Fathers Day! This stamp lends itself so well to coloring in with the water color pencils! Simple, yet elegant!
Have a lovely weekend! I will post when I get a chance, but tomorrow isn't looking very good. We are running a conscession stand for our Little League Play day. Hopefully, we can sell the 150 hotdogs out quick and I will be on the computer tomorrow night!
Enjoy the day!

The Texturz Impressions Die
You will probably get sick of seeing samples that I made with this die! I have had so much fun playing with it. I have come up with some very pretty cards!
This one was a very simple card. I just ran some white cardstock through the Big Shot and embossed it with the texturz plate. Then I took a sponge dauber and my pastels and colored it in a little bit! Quick and easy!!!
I hope that you don't blow away in the wind!

The Magnolias are Scrapbooked!
Here is the page that I made using the magnolia photos from last week. I am so excited that I received my order with the Big Shot Butterfly die! I waited a while to order it because I didn't think that I "needed" it! I am sure glad that I ordered it! It sure beats cutting out all of those butterflies by hand!
I hope to be able to post more consistently, but this computer is giving me headaches. It seems to do what it wants to do when it wants to do it...leaving me out of the equation!
Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

Last stop in the garden
While I was on the subject of gardening, I wanted to show two more pictures of my weeping cherry tree with the Spring bulbs. This is such a pretty sight, it is just too bad that it doesn't last longer.
Although, I can't complain this year because we got nearly two weeks out of it!
Check back next week, because I have a whole pile of new cards upstairs waiting to be photographed and added to the blog!
Enjoy the weekend!

Not stamping, but pretty anyway!
Here are a couple of pictures of my magnolia tree. I have had it for several years. Although, it is still small in stature, the blooms are plenty!
I only wish that they lasted much longer! But, there is nothing that I can do about that! I enjoy them while they are here.
Spring is here, and for that I am thankful!!
Enjoy your day!

Another little Ava page.
I must admit that I enjoy doing these 6 X 6 layouts. I usually work with 12 X 12 and this is cake! I love my new Varsity alphabet and am sure that I will get a ton of use out of it with all of the sports that they boys enjoy!
Thanks for checking in!

My Fathers Birthday Card
Good Monday Morning!!! I think! Here is a card that I made last month for my fathers birthday. I love this set. And, I was inspired to color it with my watercolor pencils when my mother in law sent us a thank you card using this set! And, below is the inside of the card that I decorated a little bit!
I will be using this set and a similar card for my workshops this month!
Thanks for looking!
